Seafood Chowder Fem's Touch

Ingredients 

  • Olive Oil
  • Onions
  • Shredded Ham
  • Potato
  • Garlic
  • Vegetable Stock
  • Smoke Cod Fillet
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Prawns
  • Cream
  • Red Curry Paste
  • Salt

Method

Olive Oil heat in a large saucepan, add slice onions & garlic, shredded ham and stir till onions are transparent, add small potatoes in skin; cut into 1/4's also add 2 x 1Ltr vegetable stock, simmer. Add smoke cod fillet (make sure no bone are in fillet), finely sliced carrots and celery, two teaspoons of red curry paste,  cook for 30mins med/high, stirring often. In a separate small saucepan, add olive oil, raw prawns and garlic. Cook till prawns turn pink, take off the heat, add to other ingredients in the large saucepan, in its last 25mins with cream, salt to taste. Garnish with parsley and chilli.
